So sorry I haven't been around. Thank you to everyone who's featured my work in news article. And thanks to everyone who's added my work as a fave. Sorry I haven't gotten back to you in time. I haven't been around DA much thanks to school. I'm ashamed to say this, but I haven't even been taking pictures. I want to get back into it again as soon as I have more time this summer (though I will be taking summer school for math - ugh!). I also have a scheduled trip to Yosemite in the fall. Fall colors!

DA has changed a LOT. I also have 5,867 deviations to check out. Woohoo! I hope to be more active on the site again soon.

Sorry I haven't been around DA much. Since I got back from the trip (which was fantastic - I got to work with/meet Ruth Hoyt, Art Morris, Jim Balog, etc.) life has been changing a lot. I changed my major and therefore my school, although I'm still pursuing Environmental Photojournalism. I've been on a bit of a stump photography-wise, but I'm getting back into it and I will be checking out everybody else's work.

Yayeah I won a scholarship for the North American Nature Photography Association. I'm one of 12 college students selected to attend an annual summit in Florida, so I will be in FL from the 26th to March 2nd. And when I get back I turn 20 on the 3rd! Expect to see some new pics.

Just wanted to say that my photo Yosemite: 4 is on display at the PDN PhotoPlus Expo in New York for National Geographic Travel. Yayeah.

Also, I got an internship with Greenaction, a local environmental group known for organizing protests and shutting down toxic chemical sites throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Y'know, that whole journalism thing.

I went to San Diego and L.A. this past weekend.

It sucked. It's a loooooong and miserable story, but the bottom line is I was stuck indoors the whole trip while it was gorgeous and sunny outside. So I didn't get to see anything. I didn't get to take pictures of anything that screamed San Diego or L.A. Yeah, I was pretty frustrated and pissed. It was a wasted trip.

But anyway, I'm back. Nearly changed my major to Motion Pictures. Yikes. Got midterms next week.

So what's everyone been up to?

Currently: (10/13/07) There are 15 pages in my gallery, though I feel that only the first 7 or so are worth looking at (I'm in the process of cleaning up). After about 2.5 years of being a part of DA, my gallery has come to include work featuring Canada, San Francisco, Napa Valley, Yosemite, Carmel, Point Reyes, San Diego, portraits, documentary images taken at protests, conceptual photographs, and so on.
